Storing Data

We save your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide our service, to observe any legal obligations, to settle any possible disputes or to enforce our policy. What kind of data is being collected?

We collect two types of data and information about users.  

Part of the first category is not identifying and not identifiable user data, that is provided or gathered through usage of the website („ non-personal data ”). We do not know the user’s identity of whom we have collected non-personal data of. Part of the non-personal data that we may collect, is aggregated user data and technical data that is being transmitted by your device, including specific information regarding software and hardware (for example the browser used on the device or the operating software, the language settings, access time, etc.). Cookies themselves do not contain any personal data that may identify you, however, we may connect the personal data that we have stored about you with the data contained in cookies. You may choose to remove cookies through the device settings on your device. To do this, follow the prompts. Please be aware, that a deactivation of cookies may cause a restriction in certain functions when using our website.

The tool that we are using is based on the technology of Snowplow Analytics. The data we collect regarding the utilization of our website include for example how frequently users are visiting the website or which areas of the website are being visited. This particular tool does not collect or store personal data and is used by our webhosting provider solely for the purpose of improving their own range of products. 

Usage of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

To ensure that our content is displayed correctly and graphically appealing in every browser, we use website script and font libraries, such as Google Web Fonts ( https://www.google.com/webfonts ). Google Web Fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser so that they only have to be loaded once. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or restricts access, the content is being displayed in standard font.
  • When loading script or font libraries, an automatic connection to the operator of the libraries is being established. Theoretically there is a possibility that the operator may collect data. We currently have no knowledge if and for what purpose the operators of the corresponding libraries are actually collecting data.

Collection of Data Through Third Parties

This policy only covers the usage and disclosure of data that we collect. If you publish data on other websites or disclose it to third parties on the internet, it is possible that other rules apply. This privacy policy does not apply to the business practices of companies that are not under our ownership or not under our control, or people other than our employees, including third parties, that we have disclosed this data to as described in this privacy policy.
